Miss Brasil 2008 Beauty Pageant

The Miss Brasil Pageant is a beauty contest that has been held every year since 1954 between winners of the brazilian state pageants.
The pageant was created in 1954 in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. The first edition of Miss Brasil, won by Bahia's representative Martha Rocha, was sponsored by the Folha de São Paulo newspaper.
The 2008 edition venue is scheduled to Sunday, April 13 in Citibank Hall concert house, São Paulo. The winner of Miss Brasil competes in the Miss Universe contest and the runner-up competes in the Miss International.

One of the worst Miss Brazil contests ever. Several women are ugly... other are on the borderline. Miss Rondonia is pretty. Miss Rio Grande do Sul and Miss Santa Catarina REALLY disappointed, since these states have a tradition of beautiful women, and this year... ugh!
Its funny that Brazil always avoids chosing blondes, which are pretty common in states like Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and also Paraná...

I am brazilian, so I can pretty much say everything... God you are so right....This is the worst contests ever. Miss Rondonia is ok, but Miss Para is the less worse in my opinion.

Rio Grande do Norte, Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and Goias are good...
but i saw miss brazil 2008 and Rio Grande do Sul was the better one..
i am american, and i think brazil have good chances on the MU2008 with rio grande do sul!
