Nicosia Lawson is new Miss Cayman 2008

George Town, CAYMAN ISLANDS - Nicosia Lawson, representing the district of George Town, was crowned Miss Cayman 2008 on Saturday night in front of a packed audience at the Lions Centre.

Nicosia, 25, was sponsored by the Cayman Islands Development Bank.

First runner–up in the contest was Danielle Ebanks, sponsored by Island Styles Car Rental Ltd. Second runner–up was Rachel King, sponsored by Kirk Freeport Ltd.

Nicosia will now represent Cayman Islands at Miss World 2008 and Miss Universe 2009.
