Katherine David Céspedes, Miss Bolivia 2007

Katherine David Céspedes born October 22, 1988 in Bolivia in the town of San Ignacio de Velasco[citation needed] won the 2007 Miss Bolivia pageant. She will represent her country in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant.


Alizée Poulicek, Miss Belgium 2008

A model from Huy, Alizee Poulicek won Miss Belgium 2008 at Antwerp, Belgium. She's only 20 years old and stands 5'9". Poulicek will represent Belgium at Miss Universe 2008 and Miss World 2008 competitions.



Lesliana Pereira, Miss Angola 2008

Miss Angola 2008, Lesliana Pereira.
She will represent Angola in Miss Universe 2008 Pageant .
Brigith dos Santos was represent Angola in Miss World 2008 Pagant.

Eleonora Masalab, Miss Ukraine Universe 2008

“The Queen of Kharkov”-2006, 19-year-old Eleonora Masalab was the winner of Miss Ukraine Universe 2008 pageant took place at the Alta Expo in Kiev last February 21, 2008. She was the first runner-up in 18th Miss Model of the World 2006 in Shenzhen, China.

She also competed in Miss Ukraine 2007 in April. She stands 178 cm and represented Ukraine in Miss Universe 2008 on July 15th in Nha Trang, Vietnam, but did not place in the top 15.

Dayana Mendoza, Miss Venezuela 2007

Dayana Sabrina Mendoza Moncada (born June 1, 1986 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a model and the newly crowned Miss Venezuela 2007.

On 2001 Mendoza signed with Elite Model Management and modeled in Italy, France, United States, England, Greece, Spain, Germany, Mexico and Peru for Versace, Roberto Cavalli and others fashion designers. She speaks Spanish, English and Italian.

Dayana beat out 27 other candidates to win Miss Venezuela 2007 on September 13, 2007, and became only the second woman from the Amazonas state to win (the first being Carolina Izsak in 1991). She will represent Venezuela in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 15, 2008.

Lisa-Mari Moen Jünge, Miss Norway 2007

Lisa-Mari Moen Jünge is a Norwegian model who was born and grew in Molde, a small town of the northwest-coast of Norway. She represented her country in the 57th Miss World, which took place in Sanya, China 1st of December 2007.

Lisa-Mari, who stands 177 cm, competed in the national beauty pageant Frøken Norge, held in Lillestrøm 9th of april 2007 and obtained the title as Miss Norway after placing first of over 2000 contestants.

She will also represent Norway in Miss Universe 2008, because of a change in the Frøken Norge competition.

Marichen Jolandi Luiperth, Miss Namibia 2007

Marichen Jolandi Luiperth, 21, is a beauty queen who represented Namibia in Miss World 2007 in China. She wants to follow up her Diploma in Information Studies from the University of Namibia with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Jóhanna Vala Jónsdóttir, Miss Iceland 2007

Jóhanna Vala Jónsdóttir (pronounce: Iouhana Vala Iounsdotir) born 1986 in Reykjavík, Iceland is this year Miss Iceland and will represent the island in both Miss World 2007 in Sanya, China and Miss Universe 2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Tamar Nemsitsveridze, Miss Georgia 2007

Tamar Nemsitsveridze, 20, is a beauty queen who represented Georgia in Miss World 2007 in China and is also going to represent her country in Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam . She is studying at the American University for Humanities and plans to take her M.A. in Human Rights.

Taliana Vargas, Miss Colombia 2007

Taliana Maria Vargas Carrillo (born December 20, 1987 in Magdalena, Colombia) is the newly crowned Miss Colombia 2007. Taliana Vargas is a Colombian student of Journalism at the Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia. She will represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2008.

Rebecca Parchment, Miss Cayman Islands 2007

Rebecca Parchment, 25, is a beauty queen who represented Cayman Islands in Miss World 2007 in China. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and major in Marketing, she is currently working as a Brand Manager.

Tracey Nicolaas, Miss Aruba 2007


Tracey Nicolaas is the new Miss Aruba 2007

Palm Beach: Star Promotions crowned the new Miss Aruba 2007, Tracey Nicolaas, 19, at the Grand Ballroom, Westin Aruba Resort. Her Runner Up Boyoura Martijn, 21, also received the most votes for popularity in a contest run by the Setar via its telephone messaging system. Miss Amity was Maureen Valdez, 21.

Miss Universe 2008

Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Crown Convention Center (Diamond Bay Resort) in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008 where outgoing titleholder Riyo Mori will crown her successor.

More than 80 contestants are expected to compete in the event which will be broadcast via NBC and Telemundo to TV outlets in more than 180 countries.

The final presentation show is on July 8, the dress rehearsal on July 13 and the live telecast on July 14. Most activities are being held successively in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Nha Trang.
