Miss USA 2009 Coverage





The 58th Annual Miss USA pageant will be held April 19, 2009, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The winner will be crowned by outgoing titleholder Miss USA 2008, Crystle Stewart of Texas.

All 50 states plus the District of Columbia will compete in the pageant, and will arrive in Las Vegas on April 2. The winner will represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in Bahamas on August 23, 2009.

God bless Carrie Prejean for sticking up for her beliefs. The gay question has no place in this contest. Shame on the judge for asking it. Purely political on his part.

I agree completely! What was that question doing in the contest? He asked for her opinion, and she gave it. Since when can't we have an opinion in America? It's reverse discrimination. We can only say our opinion if it's a popular one!
