Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
Christina Walls
AGE: 25 | HEIGHT: 5'8" | HOMETOWN: SALTSPRING ISLANDS, BC
Christina Walls was born in Vancouver B.C and grew-up on the humbling farmlands of Saltspring Island. She is currently researching health, nutrition and alternative medicine and is dedicated to helping others achieve optimal health. She attended The Optimum Health Institute of California studying the benefits of RAW food.
Christina’s personal journey with Cancer and her holistic approach to healing gave her the opportunity to speak out about her experiences. Her story has been seen on various networks and magazines such as Good Morning America, Jane Magazine, Inside Edition, ABC NEWS and the award-winning documentary, “Super Charge Me” inspired by and opposite of “Super Size Me”.
In addition to promoting health and well-being, Christina continues to actively pursue her passions as a model, singer and actress. She is currently collaborating and co-writing with a music producer based out of Vancouver in pursuit of creating an album.
