The winner will crown by Karla Paula Henry, Miss Philippines Earth 2008 also the reigning Miss Earth 2008 at the event. The beauty queen will be represent her country at the Miss Earth 2009 Contest.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009. Miss Earth 2008 , Karla Henry of the Philippines, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

One of my memorable experiences occurred after judging a competition in Cebu. My heel’s strap broke and my foot slid right through. It was hilarious, but I remained poised and added it to my list of learning experiences. In life, I‘ve learned to look always on the brighter side, no matter how bad the experience is. After all, I don’t lose anything, but rather gain something that would last me a lifetime.
