The winner will crown by Karla Paula Henry, Miss Philippines Earth 2008 also the reigning Miss Earth 2008 at the event. The beauty queen will be represent her country at the Miss Earth 2009 Contest.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009. Miss Earth 2008 , Karla Henry of the Philippines, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

One of my most unusual experiences was when I had to go to school when there was a flood. I had no choice but to ride a truck. I must have looked really funny riding it to school. In life, I’ve learned to be strong and to take my bad experiences as challenges to overcome.
