The winner will crown by Karla Paula Henry, Miss Philippines Earth 2008 also the reigning Miss Earth 2008 at the event. The beauty queen will be represent her country at the Miss Earth 2009 Contest.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009. Miss Earth 2008 , Karla Henry of the Philippines, will crown her successor at the end of this event.

The recent Earth Hour was memorable because I was helping Mother Earth in a big way, but at the same time saddening because not everyone participated in it. I believe that everyone has a purpose in life and that participating in Ms. Philippines-Earth has brought me closer to mine.
